The organisers of the Taste Cheshire Food and Drink Festival regret to announce the cancellation of the camping element of the festival

However, the remainder of the festival remains on track to take place as normal for the upcoming Easter weekend, on March 30-April 1, at Chester Racecourse.

This difficult decision to shelve the camping element of the festival was made following a recent assessment by the Chester Racecourse grounds team, who deemed the camping area unsuitable for use due to current ground conditions.

All ticket holders who purchased camping packages will be contacted directly. They will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their booking to the Taste Cheshire Food and Drink Festival in 2025.

Organisers say every effort has been made to ensure a fantastic experience for all festival-going attendees, regardless of the weather.

Additional measures taken include increased marquee space, with extra marquees added to provide more covered areas for food and drink stalls, as well as seating for guests.

In addition, all public areas are located on hard standing surfaces to minimise any disruption due to weather conditions.

Organisers added that, due to the conditions on the grassed areas, parking capacity may be slightly reduced. Priority parking will be given to disabled and VIP ticketholders. Attendees are encouraged to utilise public transportation or consider carpooling whenever possible.

With over 120 exhibitors, celebrity and local chef appearances, engaging cooking classes for adults and children, the festival aims to cater to all tastes.
