A SERIOUS crash near Ellesmere Port has prompted a warning from the town's Fire Station.
Firefighters attended the scene of the three-car crash on the A550 Welsh Road in Childer Thornton at around 9am this morning (Monday, March 11).
Three vehicles; a silver Nissan, a white Renault van and a silver Aston Martin were all heavily damaged in the collision.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed drivers and passengers were able to exit their vehicles without needing assistance.
The incident prompted Ellesmere Port Fire Station to warn motorists to maintain a safe stopping distance.
Ellesmere Port Fire Station said: “This morning White Watch attended an RTC involving 3 vehicles.
“Please when driving maintain a safe stopping distance between you and the car in front. Give yourself time to react safely to changing situations.”
Firefighters cleared a small oil spill at the scene.
