THERE is heavy traffic on the A51 this morning (Monday, March 11) after crash near Chester.
Two fire crews, one from Tarporley and another from Nantwich, attended the scene on the A51 Nantwich Road, Tarporley at around 8.35am.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service, said: “A two-vehicle road traffic collision was attended by crews.
“One casualty was released by firefighters and handed over to the care of paramedics.”
The incident has seen the road closed and there is queueing traffic in both directions from the A49 to Brains Lane.
