DESPITE narrowly missing out on a place in the final, Denbigh's Amber Davies laced up her boots one last time to perform in tonight's Dancing on Ice.

The final saw Made In Chelsea star Miles Nazaire, broadcaster Adele Roberts and former Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas competing for the glittering Dancing on Ice trophy.

Greg Rutherford was due to compete in the final on Sunday with his dancing partner Vanessa James but pulled out hours before after suffering a “significant injury” during rehearsals.

Amber, who attended Ysgol Glan Clwyd in St Asaph, made an appearance on the ice alongside fellow eliminated contestants.

Each celebrity took to the ice for a brief dance; Amber performed to Waterloo with pro-skating partner Simon Proulx-Senecal.

Broadcaster Adele Roberts secured third place in the final.

Reality star Miles Nazaire and former Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas performed Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean’s famous Bolero in a bid to be crowned the winner of the competition.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of Jayne and Christopher winning won gold at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo.

After Miles performed, judge Christopher said: “For us, it’s such a humbling experience to see your interpretation and bringing it to the ice, it’s a wonderful thing and tonight you did that.
