There's plenty on the menu in Chester city centre as new restaurants are opening their doors and others getting ready to launch.

Six eateries been added to the area around Bridge Street, offering a range of culinary delights to entice hungry visitors.

They join all-day food and drink venue Boheme, which has recently opened on Bridge Street. Michelin-trained chef de patron Andi Lowe-Smith said of Boheme: "We wanted to create a space that feels both luxurious and welcoming, where the art of dining is celebrated at any time of the day. Boheme is our dream come to life, where every dish tells a story, and every visit creates a memory."

Recently opened Growing-led British tapas restaurant Twenty Eight has opened on Pepper Street. The team behind Chef’s Table and Growing @ Field 28 is bringing seed to plate, market garden produce from ‘Field 28’ to Chester on Thursdays to Sundays.

Completing the half-dozen of our dining picks is GAIL's bakery and café, which is taking the spot of the former Yorkshire Building Society branch on Bridge Street. Although GAIL's has a number of locations across the UK, this would be the first to open in Chester, with fresh, handmade bread, pastries and cakes served daily along with carefully sourced house blend speciality coffee.
