A WOMAN got back behind the wheel of a car while on cocaine just a month after she was caught drug-driving.

On July 17 last year Camilla Key, of Holly Close, Holmes Chapel, was caught driving a Vauxhall Mokka after taking cocaine and morphine.

The 38-year-old was dealt with for this offence by magistrates in Crewe, who handed her a 12-month driving ban on February 6.

But on August 27 last year, Key got back in the driver's seat of a Vauxhall Astra - which she was uninsured to drive - after again taking cocaine.

She was stopped on Warmingham Lane in Middlewich before a subsequent blood test revealed she had 32µg/L of cocaine in her system. The legal limit is 10µg/L.

The test also showed Key had 800µg/L of Benzoylecgonine in her blood, which is 16 times the limit of 50µg/L.

Appearing at Chester Magistrates Court on March 5, Key pleaded guilty to drug-driving and driving without insurance.

On this occasion, magistrates banned Key from driving for three years and fined her £120. She must also pay a further £120 in court costs.
