A PREMIUM steakhouse in a Cheshire village is believed to have closed down.

‘To let’ signs have appeared in the windows of Tomahawk on London Road, Stockton Heath.

The signage reads ‘fully fitted and ready to go restaurant’.

There is also ‘no availability’ when trying to make an online reservation at the restaurant.

It comes after speculation on social media, with one person saying their booking for Sunday was cancelled due to the restaurant shutting with ‘immediate effect’.

Chester's Tomahawk branch closed last year.

The  Chester Standard's sister paper The Warrington Guardian has contacted Tomahawk for comment.

The 85-cover restaurant opened back in August 2021, specialising in the ‘finest Himalayan salt dry aged heritage and rare breed steak around’.

It also offered breakfast, lunch, and Sunday sharing options, with the venue serving as a bar in the evenings.
