THE A556 Chester Road was closed in both directions this morning (Wednesday, March 6) following a crash which saw one casualty trapped and another requiring medical attention.
Two cars were involved in a collision on the A556 at Oakmere, at the junction of Hogshead Lane, at around 11.39am.
Fire crews from Tarporley and Northwich attended the scene.
One casualty had been trapped in one of the cars but was able to extricate themselves with the help of fire and ambulance staff.
The driver of the other vehicle was also checked over by paramedics.
Air ambulance was in attendance and the A556 remains closed in both directions from Farm Road to Hogshead Lane.
