A collision on the A55 near Chester is causing significant congestion this morning.
The incident has been reported on the westbound carriageway between Junctions 39 (Sainsbury's Roundabout/A41 Interchange) and 38 (Posthouse Roundabout/A483) on Wednesday, March 6.
Traffic monitoring service Inrix reports the carriageway is partially blocked as a result of the collision.
Tailbacks are reported as far back as beyond Junction 40 (Vicars Cross interchange), with traffic also building on the A51 heading towards Chester from Stamford Bridge.
Motorists are advised to expect delays.
