POSTCODE Lottery players in an Ellesmere Port postcode are celebrating today (Friday, March 1) after scooping the £1000 daily jackpot.
The area, CH65 2BR, is located on George Street in Westminster and was selected as one of 20 winning postcodes drawn on behalf of the Postcode Community Trust.
Each player within the postcode will receive the daily draw jackpot amount.
The Postcode Lottery runs draws each day of the month, on behalf of more than 20 charities.
Players can enter for £12, with prizes ranging from £1000 up to a share of £1m. The Postcode Lottery says a minimum of 33 percent of ticket sales go towards good causes. More than £1.2bn has been raised so far.
