A feast of motorsport on two wheels and four awaits visitors to a Cheshire circuit this season.

The big-hitting British series make their return to Oulton Park in Little Budworth once more this year, for a series of races between March and November.

In between the main attractions will be a number of bespoke themed festivals and grassroots club meetings.

Topping the bill for Oulton Park in 2024 will be the Bennetts British Superbike Championship and the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship.

The superbikes will visit the Cheshire circuit twice in 2024 for two triple-header events. May Bank Holiday weekend (4-6) will feature the series’ first races of the year in the UK, whilst the second fixture (13-15 September) will be a key round in the title fight.

Touring cars return in the early summer (22/23 June) for a festival of tin top action on the Island circuit configuration, going wheel-to-wheel over three races plus a packed support programme.

Launching the motorsport season will be the opening round of the British GT Championship on Easter weekend (29/30 March and 1 April). GT3 and GT4 supercars will take part in two sprint races on bank holiday Monday with pit stops and driver changes. Junior single-seater drivers will kickstart their season on the same weekend with three races each for the GB3 and GB4 Championships, partnered by the BRDC.

A regular highlight on the Oulton Park calendar, this year is a special one for the Historic Gold Cup as it marks its 70th anniversary on July 26-28 with three days of classic action. Originally a non-championship Formula 1 race won by drivers including Jim Clark and Stirling Moss, the Gold Cup is now the North West’s premier historic motorsport event.

A range of themed festivals will entertain on and off-track during Oulton Park’s 2024 season. Supercar Pageant will focus on the performance and style with a summer event dedicated to prestige marques (29 June). High calibre machinery will feature on track in the headline GT Cup Championship with displays from owners clubs and individuals lining up around the venue.

BMW Live (1 June) and Autos de France (12 October) will both return after successful debuts at the circuit in 2023. BMW Live will showcase old and new cars from the legendary manufacturer, in partnership with the BMW Owners’ Club. Autos de France will feature an off-track show focused on cult favourites from the much-loved French car industry.

Other returning highlights include the US AutoShow powered by Lucas Oil (17 August), featuring American-themed racing, demos and displays, and Tunerfest North (20 July), which is headlined by Time Attack UK and the Motorsport UK Drift Pro Championship.

The Neil Howard Memorial Stage Rally and Fireworks (2 November) will end the year with a bang courtesy of rally action in the day followed by a spectacular fireworks display.

Club racing fans are treated to grassroots competitions including the NG Road Racing Season Starter on 23 March for motorcycle racers. The first four-wheeled club event will be the BRSCC Club Car Championships on 13 April. Other notable club meetings include Ferrari Challenge UK and the British Endurance Championship. Two-wheeled racers will be in action at two Wirral 100 Club Bike Championship fixtures as well as with No Limits Racing.

A range of leading club racing providers will visit in 2024, including MotorSport Vision Racing (MSVR), the British Racing and Sports Car Club (BRSCC), the Classic Sports Car Club (CSCC), British Automobile Racing Club (BARC), the 750 Motor Club, the Wirral 100 Club and the Classic Racing Motorcycle Club (CRMC).

As ever, children aged under 13 always go free to events at Oulton Park, while there are discounts for teenagers aged 13-15 and savings are available on all tickets booked in advance.

An Oulton Park Season Pass is available to adults for £205. Two and four-wheel passes are available too which are valid for all MSV’s UK circuits including rounds of the Bennetts British Superbike and the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championships.
