A man armed himself with a baseball bat and damaged a window of a Chester takeaway in a row over parking.
Jarry Darboe, 44, of Chester Street, Saltney, pleaded guilty at Chester Magistrates Court on Tuesday, February 20 to possessing an offensive weapon in a public place and criminal damage.
Prosecuting, Scott Woodward said the incident took place on January 27 at the Salma Grill property in Chester Street, where Darboe said: "I will f*** you up" while "waving a baseball bat around".
He then caused damage to the window of the property.
The court heard it followed an altercation with the owners of that property over where he had parked that vehicle.
Darboe had no previous convictions.
Selina Woodward, defending, said a pre-sentence report would be required for the defendant.
Magistrates agreed and Darboe was unconditionally bailed to be sentenced at Chester Magistrates Court on March 19.
