PASSENGERS catching Britain’s most luxurious train from Chester in April could find themselves as Youtube stars.

The steam-hauled Northern Belle will head off along the picturesque Settle-Carlisle line with vloggers Kirsten and Joerg Wick planning to document the journey.

The German-born married couple, both in their forties, now live in the UK and have their own YouTube channel.

And they are both excited about travelling aboard the 1930s Pullman-style train, which was once part of the iconic Orient Express group.

“We would love to do this,” said 44-year-old Kirsten, who will board the train with her husband at Shrewsbury.

The couple hope to “go behind the scenes” and chat to the engine driver, the chef - Matthew Green, and other crew members but have promised to ask permission before filming other passengers on the train during the sell-out trip on April 20.

A spokesman for the Northern Belle explained: “Most people are happy to be filmed. But they are paying for a very expensive experience, so it would be wrong to disturb them without permission.”

The train will leave Chester at 9.05am, with passengers boarding over a red carpet on then station platform.

They will then be handed their first glass of champagne before tucking into a three-course brunch.

After some spare time exploring Carlisle, a slap-up six-course dinner will be served during the journey over the spectacular route to Settle before arriving back in the city at 7.35pm.

Although this Northern Belle trip has sold out, the train will return to Chester in June for a posh Afternoon Tea trip, before three more steam-hauled journeys in September, October and November. There will also be a special Christmas Lunch trip in December.
