THE organisers of a music festival planned for this summer say they are ‘hugely upset’ at having to cancel.

Live music from a range of tribute bands and a day of family fun was on offer at Hayloft Live 2024.

The event was scheduled to take place at The Hayloft, on Sandy Lane in Bold Heath, on Saturday, June 8.

However, organisers say they are disappointed to have to cancel due to ‘unforeseen circumstances beyond their control’.

A statement reads: “It is with huge disappointment that, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control this year, Pete Pinnington Productions and The Hayloft are forced to announce the cancellation of Hayloft Live 2024.

“After enjoying a sold out, 2,000-capacity family festival in its first year with continuous positive feedback, experiences and support from our communities, we were looking forward to building on that success in 2024.

“We understand this will be disappointing for those who attended last year and planned to return this year.

“Please be assured this was not a decision made lightly, and we have been tirelessly searching for a resolution.

“Although the cancellation is hugely upsetting, we will be planning to return, so please stay connected on our socials for news.

“All ticket holders will be contacted directly via email to arrange full refunds. If you do not receive anything, please check your spam or junk folders, or message us here on Facebook or Instagram.

“Pete and Emily would like to apologise again for any inconvenience and disappointment caused by this.

“No one is more disappointed than us after putting so much time, effort and investment into this festival.

“Thank you for your continued support and understanding in this matter.”
