THERE was heavy traffic this morning (Wednesday, February 14) on the A550 Welsh Road near Ellesmere Port after a mobile crane partially blocked the carriageway.
The incident, which has occurred near the junction of the A550 and the A540, took place shortly before 8am.
Cheshire Police confirmed that the crane had come off the road and gone into a hedge.
The crash resulted in queues in both direction from the A494 (Shotwick/Birkenhead Turn Off) to the A540 Parkgate Road (Two Mills Traffic Lights).
Thankfully, there were no injuries and the scene was cleared by 11.25am.
