A CASUALTY had to be cut from a vehicle following a crash near Ellesmere Port last night (Sunday, February 11).
The two-vehicle collision on Thornton Green Lane was attended by emergency services at around 10.53pm.
Two fire crews, one from Chester and a second from Powey Lane, arrived at the scene, with firefighters providing care to one person who remained in their vehicle until they could be assessed by paramedics.
After the ambulance arrived, fire crews removed the roof of the car to free the casualty, who was then taken to hospital.
Cheshire Police remained at the scene to carry out further investigations.
