A POPULAR farm shop has hinted at a move to the high street.

Hollies Farm Shop looks set to be launching a new venture in Tarporley.

Currently, the business operates two shops, one in Little Budworth and another in Stretton, as well as holiday accommodation in Scotland and Cheshire.

However, they have now taken to social media to reveal a project called “Hollies Farm on the High Street”.

The post says it is “coming soon” to Tarporley and suggests the new venture will involve coffee, a deli, a bakery, gifts, plants and fresh produce.

Further details are set to be released via social media.

The original Hollies Farm Shop opened in Little Budworth in 1959, bringing together over 70 local suppliers.

It is known to be popular with influencers, including Cheshire residents Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague.

Last year, the shop was named local produce shop of the year at the Taste Cheshire Food and Drink Awards.

Anna Hill, the shop's graphic designer, said at the time: “We are truly humbled to have won Taste Cheshire Local Produce Shop of the Year 2023.

“We are proud to work with so many amazing local Cheshire suppliers who create some of the best produce that we sell each day at our Lower Stretton and Little Budworth stores.

“We are grateful to everybody that voted for us and the continued support from our wonderful customers and a massive thank you to our teams, who work so hard every day of the week to showcase such wonderful produce.”
