A WALES Air Ambulance helicopter was spotted in a village this morning (January 17).

The Wales Air Ambulance team is a charity service providing a free, life-saving helicopter emergency medical service for the critically ill and injured in Wales.

It relies entirely on charitable donations to raise £11.2 million every year to keep the helicopters in the air and rapid response vehicles on the road across Wales.

Earlier this morning, the Wales Air Ambulance team was spotted in the Garden City area of Flintshire.

Bryony Davies sent in the above video of the helicopter landing at the park in the village.

The Wales Air Ambulance team confirmed that they attended an incident there at around 10.28am and were at the scene for about two hours.

A spokesperson said: "I can confirm that the Wales Air Ambulance attended an incident in that region today (17/01/2024).

"Our Caernarfon-based crew were allocated at 09:51 and attended by air.

"They arrived at the scene at 10:28. Our involvement concluded at 12:38."
