SERVICES on the Wirral line are subject to "minor disruption" this afternoon (Wednesday, January 3).
Merseyrail has confirmed that "due to signalling problems between Hamilton Square and James Street the Wirral line is disrupted".
Train services running through these stations may be delayed.
The issue is affecting all four Wirral Lines (New Brighton, Ellesmere Port, West Kirby and Chester).
Here are the latest changes:
Chester line:
1356 Moorfields to Chester will run non-stop between Liverpool Central and Chester.
Ellesmere Port line:
1443 Ellesmere Port - Liverpool is cancelled.
1522 Liverpool Central - Ellesmere Port is cancelled.
Disruption is expected until 3pm today, Wednesday.
