NORTH West Air Ambulance Charity is asking those in the region to show their support and appreciation for its crew members working throughout Christmas with a 'Message in a Bauble'.

The charity's annual campaign allows everyone to say thank you and share their festive greetings by heading to the North West Air Ambulance Charity's (NWAA) website and leaving a bauble on their virtual tree.

The crew work tirelessly 365 days a year to provide enhanced pre-hospital care to patients where and when they most need it, which included attending more than 480 incidents that have taken place this year within Cheshire.

NWAA say messages are already starting to flood in from former patients and supporters of the charity, both young and old.

The messages provide an invaluable boost to the crew and the charity is urging everyone across the region to show their support for their amazing team by getting involved.

The North West Air Ambulance Charity receives no government funding and is not part of the NHS. It relies solely on the generosity of the general public to deliver its lifesaving service, bringing the hospital to the patient.
