A MAN admitted owning poisons after a dawn drugs raid saw residents evacuated from their homes.
Ashlea Henderson was arrested early on Monday, November 27, along with four men and a woman, at an address on Longridge.
The other men, aged 23, 24, 24, and 58, and a 22-year-old woman, were all released on police bail.
Henderson was charged with possessing sulphuric and hydrochloric acids without a licence and was brought before Chester magistrates on Wednesday, November 29.
The 29-year-old pleaded guilty to both charges.
Henderson, of Longridge, was released on conditional bail until Tuesday, January 9, when he must return to Chester Magistrates’ Court for sentencing.
After the raid, bomb disposal experts spent around seven hours identifying the substances, and a 100-metre cordon was put in place for much of the day.
A reception centre had to be set up at Knutsford Leisure Centre to look after those who’d been displaced.
