FIREFIGHTERS were called out to an incident in the early hours of this morning, Sunday, in Ellesmere Port.
One fire crew attended the scene in Cedar Avenue at about 12.25am today.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The crew used a hose reel water jet to extinguish a car on fire.
"They believe it may have been started deliberately and police have been informed.
"Anyone with information should call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
