THERE is heavy disruption on the A483 Wrexham Road near Chester this afternoon due to emergency repairs taking place.
ScottishPower is currently carrying out emergency repairs to restore supply, due to a cable fault.
The works are concentrated on a site near the King's School Chester.
Cheshire West and Chester Council has posted on social media: "Works are being completed as quickly as possible but may run into peak travel hours later today. Please avoid the area if you can."
Significant traffic disruption has already been reported on Wrexham Road between Overleigh Roundabout and Chester Business Park.
