MOTORISTS from Ellesmere Port and Chester experienced heavy traffic this morning (Thursday, November 16) after a crash on the M56 created long delays.
Police received reports of a two-vehicle collision on the M56 eastbound between junctions 14 and 12, near Elton, at 7.40am.
There were no reports of any injuries.
Traffic had built up between junction 15 to junction 12 as a result of the incident, with Highways England attending the scene.
The area was cleared by around 9.30am.
