A NEWLY reopened Chester pub has announced that a popular Flintshire burger chain will be taking over its kitchen.

Hungry Cow will be opening its first Chester location at the Bridge Inn on Tarvin Road, Boughton. The pub, which reopened on Friday, November 10, will be an "express kitchen" site for the restaurant.

Known for its burgers, chicken wings and loaded fries, Hungry Cow has previously rented pub kitchens in Flint and Prestatyn together with its standalone restaurants in Hollywell, Mold and Colwyn Bay.

Hungry Cow said via Facebook: "Coming Soon Hungry Cow Chester!

"We are excited to announce we will be opening a Hungry Cow Express Kitchen from The Bridge Inn! Boughton, Chester!

"We will be operating Dine In, Takeaway & Delivery from the kitchen to Chester & surrounding areas!"

The restaurant will be available via the Hungry Cow App, Chester Eats and Just Eat, although an official opening date has not yet been confirmed.

Hungry Cow has also said that more express kitchens will be opening in the near future.

The Bridge Inn said that it was "excited" to announce the partnership and urged customers to keep their eyes peeled for opening dates and further information.
