THERE was heavy traffic near Ellesmere Port this afternoon (Wednesday, November 8) after a three-car crash on the A550 Welsh Road.
Police were called to reports of an incident at around 12.30pm at the junction of the A550 Welsh Road and the A540 Parkgate Road near Ledsham.
The road was closed while the crash was dealt with.
No injuries were reported but one man was taken to hospital as a precaution.
The road was cleared by 2.45pm and traffic levels have since returned to normal.
