A TEENAGE Chester FC fan who grew his hair for two years has helped bring a boost to two good causes.
Kingsley Lampard, 15, has raised hundreds of pounds for Cancer Research, as well as donating his long locks to the Little Princess Trust, a charity which makes wigs for children.
The teenager, a massive fan of the Blues home and away, was inspired to help the charities after his nanny Gill sadly passed away two years ago from cancer.
Mum Tara said Kingsley really wanted to do something to make her proud of him, and he was helped along the way by big brother Callum, and uncle Mathew – Gill's son.
An event to mark the big haircut was held at Chester FC's Cestrian bar at the Deva Stadium, which was hired for free, where a total of £388 was raised for Cancer Research, beating Kingsley's £300 target.
Kingsley would like to thank everyone who attended and all who donated prizes.
