POSTCODE lottery players in Chester are celebrating this morning (Friday, November 3) after a specific postcode was selected as part of the daily jackpot draw.
The area, CH4 0AF, which is located on St David's Terrace, Saltney was one of 20 winning postcodes from today's draw, with each player in the the area securing a £1000 prize.
The location was one of four Chester postcodes to have won £1000, with the others - CH41 7DH, CH43 3AW and CH48 1NN - all located in Birkenhead, Wirral.
The People's Postcode Lottery manages draws for 20 postcode trusts, giving players the chance to win every day of the month.
Player pay £12 a month, which entitles them to be entered into all draws, with prizes ranging from £1000 to £1m. A third of their monthly ticket price is then given to good causes and charities across the country.
To date, the Postcode Lottery has raised more than £1bn for charitable causes.
