BAYFIELDS Opticians and Audiologists will celebrate the opening of its new premises on Eastgate Street by inviting residents to a open day.

Visitors will be able to get a glimpse of the new premises from Saturday, November 11 between 10.30am and 4pm. There will also be food and refreshments and the opportunity to raise money for Kids Bank Chester and win prizes as part of the charity raffle.

The business has moved from St Werburgh Street, which it recently took over as part of its acquisition of Mullen Opticians.

The open day will also showcase Bayfields brand new audiology offering and give visitors the opportunity of having a free hearing test in the high end audiology suite. Philip Hainsworth joins the existing team as resident audiologist having spent the last 10 years treating the hearing disorders of Chester residents at his post at Boots.

The new store will have an expanded portfolio of over 600 frames and accessories and visitors will also be able to discuss hearing solutions with Widex - one of the world's largest hearing aid providers.

Gavin Stenhouse, Practice Manager at Bayfields Opticians and Audiologists Chester, comments: "We look forward to welcoming some new faces into our practice to enjoy some complimentary refreshments, competition goodies, as well learning more about our industry leading hearing and eye checks.

"Our new practice will have the same friendly team on hand to help with your vision and hearing, but with more testing rooms to provide our clients with better availability for appointments than ever before.

"Your vision and hearing are arguably your most important senses and we all experience some changes during our lives, so if you’re experiencing any issues or you’re simply wanting to keep on top of your ear and eye health for added peace of mind – there’s no better time to pop along to our practice."
