MERSEYRAIL has confirmed that some services on the Chester and Ellesmere Port lines have been "suspended" this morning (Friday, October 20).
Services between Rock Ferry and Chester/Ellesmere Port have been suspended due to flooding on the tracks at Hooton.
Replacement bus services are conveying passengers between Rock Ferry and Chester in both directions until further notice.
Disruption is expected until noon.
Merseyrail have advised passengers to only travel "if necessary".

Also on the rail network, there is no service running between Wrexham and Bidston, again due to flooding.
Transport for Wales and Avanti West Coast have also confirmed there are currently no trains running between Chester and Crewe, due to Storm Babet.
