A CHESTER club normally known for its night scene will be opening its doors during the daytime for a special spooky family-focused rave.

Big Fish Little Fish is coming to Rosies Nightclub on Northgate Street on Saturday, October 21, between 2pm-4.30pm.

DJ Greenbins will be bringing a big selection well known, and not so well known, rave tracks including bone-rattling breakbeat and house tracks - at a sound level safe for little ears.

The family-only dancefloor will be filled with bubbles, balloons, confetti cannons and a giant parachute dance finale.

If party-goers need a break from dancing, there will also be free Halloween craft activities, such as craft and playdough tables and a colouring-in mural. For younger ravers, there’s a Baby Chill area with foam mats - perfect for a mid-rave stretch.

Regional manager Sophie Parekh said: “I’m so excited for this years Halloween events, I love seeing everyone dressed up having a 'boo'-gie”.

Tickets are £11 for adults, £8 for children (+ booking fees) and free for babes-in-arms.

Last year, this event sold out a month in advance! Tickets are available at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/big-fish-little-fish-chester-halloween-ish-family-rave-launch-tickets-600332860747

BFLF started in July 2013 with a party for 300 people with children at the Effra Social in Brixton. The award-winning company now plays regularly all over the UK, Ireland and Australia, with the crew being seasoned clubbers and parents.

The company's aim is to give families a nightclub experience at a sound level suited to little ears.

Parents are advised adult-only groups are not admitted. There is limited storage at the building, and parents are advised to keep prams behind if possible. Toilets and nappy changing facilities will be available.
