CHESTER FC face a tricky tie in their bid to make it through to the next round of the FA Cup.

The Blues have been drawn away to Hartlepool United, who are currently ninth in the National League, in the fourth qualifying round of the prestigious football competition.

Victory for either side would put them into the First Round proper and the match is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 14.

The Blues secured their passage into the next round of the competition on Saturday, edging out Cheshire side Nantwich Town 2-1 at the Deva Stadium thanks to a thrilling 94th-minute winner by Charlie Caton. Defender Harrison Burke had earlier scored another of his FA Cup headed goals to give the hosts the lead before substitute Connor Heath levelled things for the visitors.

Chester have struggled on their travels so far this season, with their only victory coming in the cup at Tadcaster Albion on September 16, the Blues coming from behind to win 3-1.
