THE production of a fairy tale adventure is coming to Ellesmere Port.

Baba Yaga will show a magical journey into Slavic folklore as Theatre Hullabaloo and Theatre Porto collaborate.

The show is for children aged six and above and will run from October 6 until October 12.

Inspired by the Slavic stories of Baba Yaga, the enchanting tale of a sister and brother who are forced to flee their home, only to find themselves in a whole new world.

This dark fairytale takes unexpected twists and turns, where danger hides in the least expected corners, but safety is closer than you think.

With fantastical fairytale ingredients and physical theatre, this production celebrates the bravery of children, reminding us all that courage and ingenuity can triumph even in the face of the most formidable adversaries.

Baba Yaga is the result of a collaborative effort between Theatre Hullabaloo and Theatre Porto, developed through conversations with children and families who share a fascination with this ultimate witch.

Laura Lindow's new play reimagines the best elements of these stories, "creating a dark, fairytale world where children's bravery and ingenuity ultimately triumph".

In this version of Baba Yaga, audiences will take a journey with 10-year-old twins as they embark on an adventure to seek safety.

Along the way, they'll be forced to show great resilience and courage to defeat the ultimate witch.
