THE Countess of Chester Hospital is warning patients to be aware of a scam imitation email.
The phishing email has been sent to inboxes coming from a website labelled 'chestercountynhs', the hospital trust says, and is urging anyone who receives such an email not to visit that site or click any links in the email.
Anyone who receives that email should also not open any attachments or attempt to respond to it.
