THE hit BBC One show The Travelling Auctioneers will visit the National Waterways Museum in Ellesmere Port next week.

New series stars Izzie Balmer and JJ Chalmers will be at the museum on South Pier Road on Tuesday, September 5, looking for local residents to take part in a major auction.

Ahead of the show’s upcoming second series, Izzie and JJ have taken their auction house and workshop across the UK, unearthing hidden gems and restoring unwanted items to their former glory.

Now, in association with Adam Partridge Auctioneers of Macclesfield, they're ready to sell them!

Locals can view the online catalogue and register to bid here.

If you would like to take part in the filming of The Travelling Auctioneers, and perhaps even bid, please let a member of the Museum team know on arrival and you will be directed to the auction.

You can also register to bid on site from 11.15am. The auction begins at 12 noon.
