A BAKERY chain has opened a new shop in Flintshire.

Clwyd Bakeries has opened a site in Ewloe - taking over a premises that was previously a deli.

The award-winning chain, which has existing sites in Talacre, Prestatyn, Rhyl and Chester, posted on Facebook saying: "We are delighted to announce that our latest shop has officially opened in Ewloe!

"Serving our delicious bakery goods including breakfast sandwiches and a large selection of lunch items, Monday-Saturday, 8am-5pm."

It added: "If you would like to place larger orders, our phone line will be in service soon, but for now, please send us a message or pop into the shop.

"We look forward to welcoming you soon!"

It has taken over a premises opposite the Co-op on The Highway in Ewloe. It had been vacant for a number of months after the closure of Eatdeli earlier this year.
