THE RED Arrows will be seen taking off from and landing at Hawarden Airport this weekend.

RAF's iconic aerobatics team will be using the airport as a two-day base for its displays at the Rhyl Airshow at the weekend (August 26 and 27).

And the times the Reds will be leaving and landing at the airport have now been revealed.

As always, they are subject to change depending on weather conditions and other factors.

The Reds are due to arrive at Hawarden Airport at 1.48pm on Saturday, before departing for the airshow at 4.19pm. They are due to then arrive back at 4.57pm.

On Sunday, they will again be departing the airport at 4.19pm and arriving back at 4.57pm. They will then depart at 7pm back to their base at RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire.

And people near Chester may also be able to get a glimpse of them in flight locally.

The Reds are flying close to Farndon at 1.47pm on Saturday, and south west of the Ceiriog Valley at about 4.25pm on both Saturday and Sunday on the way to the airshow.
