ITS less than one week until Deva Fest gets underway with thousands expected to attend the event at its new location, Cholmondeley Castle Gardens.

The family-friendly festival will be hosted at the castle for the first time from August 11 to August 13, with top artists including Will Young, Fleur East, Feeder, Morcheeba and Five alongside a host of local bands and artists across five stages of music and comedy.

Daily shuttle buses will be operating on two routes, with route one stopping at; Ellesmere Port, Chester (Railway Station and City Centre), Tarporley, Christleton/Tattenhall, and route two stopping at; Dodleston, Rossett, Gresford, Wrexham and Holt. Tickets are a flat rate at £9pp for all ages.

Deva Fest say they have worked to ensure that the event is not out of reach for families amidst the cost-of-living crisis with the total cost per person, per day for the three-day event priced at around £43.

This includes the opportunity to see an array of music headliners from the likes of Will Young, Fleur East, Five and Feeder, as well as Comedy legends such as Paul Smith, Justin Moorhouse and Tez Ilyas. Also included in Deva Fest ticket prices are unlimited rides on the fairground, superhero parades, a kid’s kingdom, dino-mania and many more family activities on site.

Philip Marston, founder of Deva Fest, said: "Understanding the financial implications of family activities during the summer holidays is crucial for event organisers. At Deva Fest, we want to empower families to create memorable summer experiences while managing their expenses effectively – which is why we’ve given a lot of thought into our ticket prices and helping with travel expenses.

"Deva Fest 2023 is bigger and better than previous years, with more included in ticket prices without compromising on what makes Deva Fest special. We always have and always will create our festival with our attendees in mind, planning everything from free parking, discounted shuttle buses, the poshest festival loos as standard, free-to-ride fairground, and a fantastic main stage line up included in the ticket price."

The event has five stages of music and comedy, with hand-picked street food stalls and a range of on-site activities. Tickets are still available to purchase online including day tickets, weekend family packages as well as camping and glamping options, tickets won't be available to purchase on the day.
