A CRASH has sparked "severe delays" on the M56 near Chester.
The incident has happened eastbound this afternoon (Sunday) between J14 A5117 (Chester Services / Helsby) and J12 A557 (Runcorn).
Congestion is stretching back past the M53 Interchange to near the England-Wales border and traffic reports state there are "severe delays".
