A FIRE on the outskirts of Chester is believed to have been caused by the burning of weeds.
One fire crew from Powey Lane were called to the scene in Little Stanney lane at about 3.30pm yesterday (Tuesday, July 4).
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "A hedge on fire, that is believed to have been started due to weeds being burnt, was attended by firefighters.
"They used a hose reel to put the fire out."
