FIREFIGHTERS were called to the scene of a crash near Ellesmere Port last night (Wednesday, April 26) which saw two vehicles badly damaged and one individual trapped.
Crews from Ellesmere Port and Powey Lane stations were mobilised at 6.23pm after a blue Skoda and a black Mini Cooper collided on Parkgate Road, Neston.
The impact left the Mini on its side, trapping the driver inside the vehicle.
This evening White Watch along with their colleagues from Powey Lane attended a two vehicle RTC. The crews worked together to help stabilise the vehicle and extricate the casualty #drivesafe #drivetoarrive #notjustfires #fireservice pic.twitter.com/Lk3wHW3oVw

A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews stabilised the two vehicles involved and then created space at the rear of one of the cars to enable the occupant to self-extricate from the vehicle.
"After handing the occupant into the care of other agencies, crews then handed the incident over to Cheshire Police."
