AS EUROVISION comes to Liverpool this year, Chester's Green Badge Guides have developed a new music themed tour for those who may visiting or staying in the city during the event.

The tour will be a light-hearted look at Chester's rich history in music and the performing arts. There will be a look at shows and spectacles which will also cover the main sights of the city - the Rows, the walls, the Eastgate Clock and the Roman amphitheatre and one or two Eurovision facts will also be included.

Running from Sunday, May 7 to Saturday, May 13 at 11am, visitors can meet their tour guide outside the Chester Visitor Information Centre at the Town Hall on Northgate Street.

The tour will last approximately 90 minutes and there is no need to book in advance.

Chester Tours has a group of 36 tour guides, all professionally trained to national standards as Blue or Green Badge Guides. The Guild has been running tours for more than 40 years and can deliver tours in nine different languages.

The tour is also set to continue as a bookable theme tour after Eurovision has finished.
