THE owner of an Ellesmere Port salon has won a top award.
Lauren Ellis, owner of LDE Studios on Whitby Road, had previously been named as a finalist in the UK Hair and Beauty Awards in the Make up Artist of the Year category.
The UK Hair and beauty Awards final was held over two days from April 21-22 in Birmingham, with Lauren's category being decided in the first day in an event hosted by singer and actor Duncan James.
And Lauren is celebrating after clinching second for the whole of the North West.
Speaking before the finals, Lauren said: "I have been doing make up for five years now which is an achievement by itself! I have worked with clothing brands and beauty pageants and offer wedding and occasion make up.
"I opened LDE Studios in November 2021 just after coronavirus, we have an amazing team of girls providing all beauty treatments however I personally specialise in make up."
Writing on social media after claiming second in the region, Lauren said: "I cannot believe it! Massive thank you to all my clients for forever supporting me! And massive well done to everyone who made the final."
