A NEW restaurant is set to replace Boujee on Chester's Pepper Street, after it closed in January this year.
Six One Six Chester says it will offer a 'Traditional dining experience delivered with modern flair'. The business has notified viewers on its Instagram page that official opening dates will be revealed next week.
Six One Six has been recruiting over the past three weeks, with managers, bar staff, floor staff, hosts and kitchen staff wanted.
It's current website and Instagram pages indicates a more classic aesthetic, in contrast with Boujee which was dubbed 'Instagram heaven' and drew criticism from some for its bright pink decor and neon lighting.
The previous business closed its door for good on January 18 after around 15 months, citing an "uphill battle" and "numerous constant hurdles" as reasons for the closure together with declining customer numbers and increasing prices on energy and food. Real Housewives of Cheshire star Lystra Adams was a one-time director of the brand which also had venues in Liverpool and Manchester.
Further information on Boujee's imminent replacement is available on the Six One Six website or at sixonesixchester on Instagram.
