DETECTIVES in Ellesmere Port have charged a man in connection with drug offences.

Keaton Ormerod-Beck was arrested on Saturday, March 25 following a stop and search conducted by officers on the A5117, near Stanney Woodst, Ellesmere Port policing team said.

The 24-year-old, of Chester Road, Whitby, has since been charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs (cocaine), being concerned in the supply of Class C drugs (ketamine), possession of criminal property, possession with intent to supply Class B drugs (cannabis) and possession with intent to supply a psychoactive substance.

He appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Monday, March 27 where he was remanded in custody and is next set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday, April 24.
