TWO fire engines were called to a home in Ellesmere Port this afternoon (Tuesday, February 28) after a fire involving a log burning stove.
A crews from Ellesmere Port and one from Chester arrived at the address on Pembroke Drive in the Whitby area of the town at around 3.31pm.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire in the three storey building. The crews then checked the beams with a thermal imaging camera to ensure there were no further hot spots.
