A POLICE dog helped track and detain burglary suspects in Ellesmere Port.
The Cheshire and North Wales Police Dog unit said last night (February 25) in Ellesmere Port, two men allegedly broke into a site to steal cable.
PD Toro and handler attended and after a lengthy search located the suspecyd hiding in a brook in dense undergrowth.
After both males decided to run, Toro detained the first suspect and then continued the search and removed the second man from his hiding place.
Both were subsequently arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft offences.
