AN Ellesmere Port brow and lash artist is in line for a top award.

Laura Yew, owner of Sassy Doll, based at LDE Lauren Ellis Studio in Whitby Road, has been awarded a place in The Brow Awards Final. The event will be held at an award ceremony in Birmingham this September.

Laura started Sassy Doll Ltd in January 2020, not long after she qualified as a lash technician. Although Covid put a hold on her new business venture, and it was hard to maintain clientele and momentum due to the pandemic, Laura pursued her dream and went on to gain more qualifications in brows and make-up.

Laura is a clinical support worker at a local mental health hospital, as well as running her beauty business on the side, along with looking after her three children.

Sassy Doll now has a loyal clientele base and predominately creates beautiful brows for local ladies. This place in the final of The Brow Awards, just goes to show how far a small local business can go.

For making it to the final, Laura has received an official certificate and bespoke finalist title.

The second Brow Awards ceremony will recognise the best in the beauty industry, in a glittering event to be held at Aloft Hotel, Birmingham, on September 23.
