AN independent business known for its traditional Portuguese 'Pastel De Natas' custard tarts is set to open its new store in Chester next month.

Having been a regular feature at food events and markets across Cheshire and the North West for many years, the company which was founded in Altrincham will be opening its new shop in Rufus Court on March 1.

The new location will offer a welcoming environment where customers can enjoy their favourite treats while taking in the sights and sounds of the city. In addition to its famous Pastel De Natas the shop will also be selling a variety of tea and coffee, making it the perfect destination for anyone looking for a sweet treat or a quick pick-me-up. Eat in and takeaway options will be available.

Like many small businesses, the patisserie has had to contend with the Covid pandemic, lockdowns and several periods of economic uncertainty.
