A CRASH involving a police car and another vehicle in Ellesmere Port left an officer with an injured wrist.
On Saturday evening (January 28) at 6.40pm, a police car and silver Vauxhaull Insignia were involved in a collision on Whitby Road.
Police have confirmed that the officer was responding to a grade one incident and had their blue lights and sirens on.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "At 6.40pm on Saturday 28 January, a police car was involved in a collision with a silver Vauxhall Insignia, on Whitby Road, Ellesmere Port.
"The officer driving the police car was responding to a grade one incident at the time of the collision, and was using blue lights and sirens.
"The occupants of the Vauxhall were uninjured. The police officer sustained minor injuries to their wrist.
"No arrests have been made."
